WOM by Samsung

Reimagining Luxury Kitchen Technology

In Partnership with: Aurelio Velez (SCAD Industrial Designer)

Scope: End-to-End Brand Strategy, Product Innovation, Positioning, Go-To-Market (GTM), & Distribution Strategy

The Opportunity

The luxury culinary market was ripe for disruption. While smart appliances existed, none offered a fully autonomous, high-design culinary experience that elevated the home kitchen into a futuristic lifestyle statement. In partnership with Samsung, the goal was to bridge high technology with luxury industrial design—redefining the kitchen space from utility to innovation.

The Strategic Execution (0-to-1 Product & Brand Launch)

Overseeing the full lifecycle from early concept drafts to complete commercial rollout:

  • Market Positioning & Brand Strategy: Positioned WOM not merely as an appliance, but as an indispensable luxury lifestyle technology—establishing brand narrative, identity, and customer adoption frameworks.

  • Product & Functional Co-Creation: Partnered with SCAD industrial designer Aurelio Velez to align autonomous cooking functionality with a sleek, ultra-modern physical form factor.

  • Go-To-Market & Marketing Strategy: Built comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to educate luxury consumers and generate high-demand positioning.

  • Distribution Architecture: Mapped out retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) distribution pipelines tailored to high-end tech and modern residential markets.

The Impact

Transformed a conventional appliance concept into an autonomous, open-source luxury cooking experience—proving how strategic brand alignment can unlock entirely new product categories for legacy tech leaders like Samsung.
